btw if you see a photo of a bat resting in a tree right side up and postured in a way besides this quadrupedal grip it is very likely AI generated, they cannot perch bipedally like birds.
Notice how uninvolved the thumbs are in supporting themselves, bats rely heavily on their thumbs for climbing and gripping. these are borderline avian poses being transposed onto bats
Bats with flowers can be tricky, in that case it’s best to look at the species and honestly just vibes and setup of the photo, the real ones are a lot more chaotic than the AI image (top left)
